Hystorical Christmas: A Caroling Musical Through History (AGES 13+)
Our original Christmas musical is a low key, fun look at the history behind some favorite Christmas Carols. Audience participation will be one of our goals. This is the perfect opportunity to get your feet wet into the world of musical theater, or to continue in your love for it. Please register for either the Choir for Performance or Acting for Performance class to book your audition and join the cast.
Audition requirements: For those aged 13+ who love Christmas carols - if you want to sing in the show, sign up for the class and show up! You can hide in the choir or try out during class time for specific parts/duets. For those who would like to be an actor - we have speaking & non speaking roles! Actors will play characters, furniture, and sets. (Yes, you read that correctly!) Acting requires a formal audition on August 26. Please come prepared with a 1-2 minute monologue, and you will be asked to read some parts with others. All students must be able to commit to rehearsals (Sundays + tech week) and all performances (Dec 1 & 2), and have a good attitude.
PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE SUNDAY CHOIR FOR PERFORMANCE OR ACTING FOR PERFORMANCE CLASS TO BE ON THE AUDITION LIST.
