Royal Stage is a non-denominational Christian arts ministry,  committed to raising up godly artists, while also striving to reach the unbelieving community both locally and abroad.

Winter schedule is here! Classes are $9 per week, per class enrolled. 

There are three payment options per class:

  • $9 drop in (cash, check, card)
  • $40 per month (5th week of each month free)
  • $130  for the entire 18 weeks of classes (20% discount) 

 Scholarships are available, and all scholarship students must sign a commitment contract to volunteer 6 hrs during the season. 

PLEASE use a valid email address on your registration that you check regularly, as we will invoice you through this as well as send you monthly updates on everything happening at the studio! 

If the class you want is currently waitlisted, please do still register for it. We aim to make room for all students or open a new section within 2-3 weeks. 

Class schedule

Monday

10:30am - Pre-Ballet/Tap ages 2-5     Instructor: Ms. Monica      This introduction to the world of tap & ballet is 55 minutes long and is geared toward our youngest dancers, ages 2-5. Parents must stay onsite during class. Dress code requirement: pink or black leotard; pink, black or white tights; optional ballet skirt in these colors. (ballet & tap shoes required by 3rd class). 

11:30am - Dance Collage - ages 6-11 Instructor: Ms. Monica      This  "sampler platter" dance class is created especially for homeschoolers in 1st through 6th grade. Students will explore ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and other dance disciplines, providing a well-rounded dance experience and encouraging students to discover their favorite for future classes. . Dress code requirement: pink or black leotard; pink, black or white tights; optional ballet skirt in these colors. (ballet & tap shoes required by 3rd class)

4:00pm-Children's Ballet I ages 6-11 Instructor: Ms. Reya    This ballet class is for boys & girls aged 6-11 who have had 2 years or less of ballet instruction. This class (or equivalent from another studio) is required prior to registering for Ballet II.  Dress code requirement: pink or black leotard; pink, black or white tights; optional ballet skirt in these colors. (ballet or jazz shoes required by 3rd class). Boys are asked to wear black sweats or track pants, and a properly fitting white t-shirt or tank. 

5:00pm - All Ages Breakdancing ages 5+  Instructor: Mr. Kyle      A breakdancing class for both kids and adults to enjoy together!   Dress code requirement: Black leotard underneath clothing. Street clothes you can move in and sneakers. No jeans please. 

BY AUDITION - 6:00pm - NARNIA: THE MUSICAL - ages 12+ (select 9-11 year olds)  Instructor: Ms. Tammy & Ms. Carol. Join us for our spring production of Narnia. All teens and adults who are able to commit to rehearsals will be cast. Mature children aged 9-11 will be cast on an as needed basis, and we will strive to include all that we can. *ADDITIONAL REHEARSAL TIMES WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT AUDITIONS*

6:00pm-Children's Hip Hop-ages 6-11    Instructor: Mr. Kyle         This hip hop class is designed for kids aged 6-11 who have had 2 yrs or less of hip hop dance experience. Kids will learn both studio hip hop & breakdancing.  Dress code requirement: Black leotard underneath clothing. Street clothes you can move in and sneakers. No jeans please. 

7:00pm-Teen/Adult Hip Hop-ages 12+    Instructor: Mr. Kyle       This hip hop class is designed for students aged 12+ who have had 2 yrs or less of hip hop dance experience. Kids will learn both studio hip hop & breakdancing.  Dress code requirement: Black leotard underneath clothing. Street clothes you can move in and sneakers. No jeans please. 

Tuesday

4:00pm - Youth Tap/Jazz - ages 10-18  Instructor: Ms. Monica  This combination tap & jazz class is geared toward tweens and teens.      Dress code requirement: any color leotard, jazz pants, tap shoes, jazz shoes. 

5:00pm - Children's Tap - ages 6-11 -  Instructor: Ms. Monica  This tap class will teach kids aged 6-11 the fundamentals of this fun (and noisy!) dance style. 

6:00pm-Children's Hip Hop-ages 6-11    Instructor: Mr. Kyle   This hip hop class is designed for kids aged 6-11 who have had 2 yrs or less of hip hop dance experience. Kids will learn both studio hip hop & breakdancing.  Dress code requirement: Black leotard underneath clothing. Street clothes you can move in and sneakers. No jeans please. 

6:00pm - Adult Contemporary/Jazz- ages 18+   Instructor: Ms. Monica       A captivating fusion of the jazz and contemporary dance worlds, this dance class is geared especially for adults. From the basics to the intermediate level, adults will enjoy fellowship time as well as non-intimidating dance instruction.  Dress code requirement: black or purple leotard under clothes, black yoga or jazz pants, shorts or sweats. Bare feet, foot paws or jazz shoes are appropriate for this class. No socks please. 

7:00pm - Youth Contemporary- ages 9-14   Instructor: Ms. Megan        A captivating fusion of the ballet & modern dance world, this contemporary dance class is geared especially for youth. From the basics to the intermediate level, students  will enjoy fellowship time as well as non-intimidating dance instruction.  Dress code requirement: black or purple leotard under clothes, black yoga or jazz pants, shorts or sweats. Bare feet, foot paws or jazz shoes are appropriate for this class. No socks please. 

7:00pm - Intermediate Hip Hop -  teacher approval required    Instructor: Mr. Kyle     For those who have 3+ years of hip hop dance experience, or have received an invitation to audition. All ages welcome, but you must be at least 5 years old to participate. 

 

Wednesday

4:45pm - Acting for the Internet - ages 10-16  Instructor: Ms. Dejonna   From learning how to audition for a film or tv spot, to creating content for your own YouTube channel, this class will teach you effective techniques and make you a star on our Royal Stage page, too! 

4:45pm - Senior Tap - ages 55+ Instructor: Ms. Monica  It's never too late to learn how to dance! Come tap away with us in a positive, encouraging environment. 

Thursday

4:45pm-Children's Contemporary ages 6-11 Instructor: Ms. Sarah    This contemporary class is for boys & girls aged 6-11 who have had 2 years or more of contemporary dance instruction. Completion of Ballet I (or equivalent from another studio) is encouraged but not required prior to registering for Ballet II.  Dress code requirement: pink or black leotard; pink, black or white tights; optional ballet skirt in these colors. (ballet or jazz shoes required by 3rd class). Boys are asked to wear black sweats or track pants, and a properly fitting white t-shirt or tank. 

6:00pm-Teen/Adult Tap-ages 12+ Instructor: Ms. Sarah    This beginner/intermediate tap class is geared for both teens and adults - and we welcome both age groups! If you've ever wante to learn how to tap, then this class is for you! Dress code requirement: black or purple leotard under shirt - jazz/yoga pants, shorts or sweats. 

7:00pm- Teen/Adult Ballet I/II-ages 12+ Instructor: Ms. Sarah        This ballet class is a time of instruction and fellowship for teens and adults - and we gladly welcome both age groups! Come experience the world of ballet in a welcoming, non-competitive environment.   Dress codeblack or purple leotard (under any color shirt if you prefer)  - black jazz/yoga pants, shorts or sweats. Ballet shoes required by third week of class. 

Saturday

9:15 am-Pre-Ballet-ages 2-5    Instructor: Ms. Andrea        This introduction to the world of  ballet is 55 minutes long and is geared toward our youngest dancers, ages 2-5. Parents must stay onsite during class and class is limited to 10 students. Dress code requirement: pink or black leotard; pink, black or white tights; optional ballet skirt in these colors. (ballet shoes required by 3rd class). 

10:30am - Acting for Teens/Adults  Instructor: Ms. Carol  This acting class will prepare you for stage auditions and performances, all in a warm, encouraging environment designed just for those aged 16+ who are either new to the craft or want to hone their already established skills. 

10:30am - Children's Snack & Create    It's a "Paint and Sip" for kids! Join us on the 2nd Saturday of each month for snacks, juice boxes and a fun art project you can take home with you. This takes place on the 1st Saturday of each month. 

10:30am - Teen/Adult Art Brunch Our own version of the popular "Paint and Sip," teens & adults are invited to come enjoy some light brunch items while painting a picture or creating a craft for the home. This takes place on the 3rd Saturday of each month. 

10:30am-Ballet I-ages 5-8  Instructor: Ms. Andrea   For our pre-ballet graduates, or those who wish to explore the world of ballet for the first time, this ballet class is 55 minutes long and is specialized toward this special age group. Siblings older than age 8 may be enrolled with prior permission. Dress code requirement: pink or black leotard; pink, black or white tights; optional ballet skirt in these colors. (ballet  shoes required by 3rd class). 

12:00pm-Teen/Adult Ballet -ages 12+  Instructor: Ms. Laura    For those aged 12+ who have 2 years or less of ballet experience, this class is the perfect introduction into the world of classical ballet. Dress codeblack or purple leotard (under any color shirt if you prefer)  - black jazz/yoga pants, shorts or sweats. Ballet shoes required by third week of class.
