Class Payment & Scholarship Policy

For the past 12 years, Royal Stage has accepted everyone into its classes, shows and camps, allowing flexible payment options and scholarships.
We are proud to continue this “arts for all” policy, but due to a frequent pattern of no-show and inconsistent students after registration, we are now requiring a credit card on file for all students.

Due to our low prices, all payments are final. If your plans change, we are happy to issue a credit for future classes.

What will my credit card be used for?
If you are paying for classes via card, your card will be charged the amount specified. If you are on a monthly or weekly payment plan, you may still pay by cash or check in studio. However, if we are not notified of an absence in advance, your card will be charged $10 as if you attended. If you are on scholarship and we are not notified of an absence in advance, your card will be charged $10 as a normal paying student. If you have registered for a class and have not formally withdrawn, you will be charged a non-refundable $10 per week, per registered class until you withdraw. This includes scholarship students and those who do not attend the first class. If you are in our system as registered, it is your responsibility to notify us of a withdrawl.

Students who register under scholarship or cash/check may see a $1 charge and reversal at the time of registration on their credit card statement, as we do this to ensure the credit card number entered is valid.

How do I notify of an absence?
If you are going to be absent, simply email us at theroyalstage@gmail.com or text 916.572.3022. Absence notifications may be made up until one hour prior to class start time.

Thank you for your help in cultivating a consistent, reliable learning environment for our students, and allowing us to continue to offer the arts for all through reliable class counts for our hard working teachers.
